Supervisors unanimously adopted an advisory resolution urging the state to address federal changes that cut federal funding for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP/FoodShare) administration. Jill explained that in July the federal government reduced its share of administrative funding to 50% from about 75%, a change that creates an estimated $69 million impact to Wisconsin and shifts costs and workload to counties.
