Liza presented the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) budget and said this program year’s allocation is $410,000, with recent carryover covering operations until funds arrived. She told the committee that federal formula changes and cuts have produced a “substantial” reduction in available training dollars and showed graphs demonstrating declines since 2019.
