The full story
The Knowlton Township Land Use Board voted to approve variances permitting a new accessory garage to be sited in front of the house at 55 Auble Rd., a roughly three-acre lot owned by George Burdge. The board accepted testimony from licensed land surveyor and planner Laura Brill and from applicant George Burdge that the house sits at the rear of the irregular lot and the driveway runs up the middle, creating a practical constraint for locating a new garage elsewhere. The board recorded a roll-call vote approving the variances (Baley, Gaeta, Mathez, Mazza, O'Neill, Overpeck, Drake, Mezzanotte and Taylor voted yes; Smith abstained).
