Residents press Selectboard on Mary Lane audit, possible $26M grant application

Cynthia Bourcier told the Selectboard the town is pursuing federal healthcare grant funds through what she called the 'Big Beautiful Bill,' saying approximately $50 billion is being divided among states and that Massachusetts could receive $500 million. She said the Friends of Mary Lane plan to apply for up to $26 million, which could fund a federally qualified health center and equipment. "Big Beautiful Bill," Bourcier said, explaining the scale of funds under consideration.
