County sets dates for budget presentation, public hearing and adoption

County Administrator Grady Saxon laid out the schedule and public-notice steps for the 2026 proposed budget. Saxon scheduled a called meeting for Sept. 16, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. for the official proposed budget presentation, said an ad would run in the Millen News on Sept. 17 announcing the public hearing scheduled for Sept. 25, 2025 at 6:00 P.M., and noted a called meeting for adoption would occur on Oct. 2, 2025 at 6:00 P.M.
