Sherman County Court on March 18 adopted two proclamations: one designating April 19–25, 2026, as Crime Victims' Rights Week and another designating April 2026 as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Both motions were made by Commissioner Justin Miller, seconded by Commissioner Joan Bird, and passed by recorded vote of 2–0.
