Burke County commissioners approved hiring three Recreation Aide positions, an Administrative Assistant II in the Clerk of Court, a Family and Consumer Sciences Agent in the Extension Office, renewed an MOU with the Georgia Forestry Commission, and approved the Eastern Regional Library System annual service agreement on June 9.

The Burke County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on multiple personnel and intergovernmental items at the June 9 meeting. The board approved advertising and filling three Recreation Aide Concession positions, an Administrative Assistant II vacancy in the Clerk of Court, and a Family and Consumer Sciences Agent position in the Extension Office. Each motion was moved, seconded and passed unanimously.
