Committee chair cancels joint DART meeting; special call set for 2:30 p.m.

The chair of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee announced at 1:17 p.m. that the previously scheduled joint meeting with DART and the Transportation Committee would not take place, saying the cancellation followed the city attorney's advice and that DART did not have a quorum. "As chair of the transportation and infrastructure committee, I am announcing that the previously scheduled joint meeting with DART and the Transportation Committee will not take place, because of the advice of city attorney and, as a result of DART not having a quorum present for a joint meeting," the chair said.
