The mayor presented a recommendation from Library Director Gina Lawrence and the Library Board to appoint James Halstead to a four-year vacancy on the Schubert Public Library Board of Trustees. The commission consented and the appointment was confirmed; if appointed, the term runs May 1, 2026 through April 2030.
