The Audit and Finance Committee of the Austin City Council adopted the first official bylaws for the Austin-Travis County Public Health Commission during its Aug. 19 meeting. Stephanie Hall, deputy clerk, told the committee the bylaws "follow the standard template and they meet all code requirements," and described the body’s membership structure.
