Union City awarded $100,000 Renaissance Grant; program area to expand

Borough Manager Cindy Wells told council that ECGRA awarded Union City $100,000 under the Renaissance Grant for 2026/2027. She said this will be the last year for South Street, West High Street and the Avenues to participate and that the program area will expand to include Putnam Street, North and South Main Street, East High Street, and Route 97 from North Main Street to the borough line.
