Dallas County approves $914,255 pay application for evidence-storage and firing range; construction 37% complete
County staff reported the evidence-storage building and firing range are under active construction—site work and masonry continue—and the board approved Turner Construction pay application No. 12 for $914,255.17.

Chad, a county staff presenter, told the Board that exterior CMU and much of the masonry work is complete on the new evidence-storage building and that the firing-range structure is advancing with joist and decking installed. He said underground plumbing and electrical work in the evidence building are complete and a slab-on-grade pour was scheduled the next day. "So far, we've got the Wayne's coat around the the new evidence storage building complete…and slab on grade for the evidence storage building is going to get placed tomorrow," Chad said.
