City says HVAC units repaired, temporary cooling deployed after shelter AC failures

Director Monica Dangler told the Bridal Advisory Commission that Austin Facilities Management (AFM) has begun accelerating planned HVAC replacements and completed repairs to restore cooling in the 100, 200 and 600 kennels and the cat area. Dangler said temporary supplemental cooling units remain in place as contingencies until permanent replacements are installed.
