At the start of the meeting’s final agenda group, the council adopted an ordinance ordering the Nov. 3, 2026 general election for council seats in Districts 1, 3, 5, 8 and 9. Council member Adam Siegel moved the ordinance, which the council adopted unanimously. The ordinance authorizes the city clerk to enter into agreements with other political subdivisions to coordinate polling places and other election services.
