Mr. Henry presented proposed language cleanups and limited updates to Franklin County's development code and said the changes are intended to simplify requirements and avoid importing standards from larger jurisdictions that the county cannot readily support. "We changed our minor land division from four parcels or from five parcels to four to match state law," he said, explaining the county should not be different from the state's definition of a subdivision.
