Council voted to approve a tentative three-year agreement between the City of Myrtle Creek and Local Union No. 659 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. The motion was made by Councilor Jamie McElmurry and seconded by Councilor Robert Chaney, Sr. Councilor Rick Held abstained from the vote because a family member is in the union. The motion passed with four yes votes and one abstention.
