The Dexter City Council appointed Janon Douglas as interim City Clerk at its March 20 special meeting. Councilmember TJ Morehouse moved the appointment and, per roll call names listed at the meeting, Josh England seconded; the minutes state the motion passed with a unanimous recorded vote: "All voted aye." Douglas will serve until a new clerk is hired and will assist with interviews and training.
