Commissioner Lisa Lee described several exemplar projects funded through university partnerships, including RADAR (rapid actionable data for opioid response) and a HRSA-funded pediatric emergency department pilot intended to improve critical pediatric emergency care. Lee said Kentucky participates in multistate opioid-data projects and reported that the projects "have actually helped because we are seeing a great decline in overdose deaths and opioids in the state."
