Application 2026-04-SPSA, a request by Jonathan Jones to remove a prior stipulation that would allow a billboard on an 8.25-acre parcel zoned B-2 on Hiram Acworth Hwy (SR 92), resulted in a tied recommendation vote at the June 23 Planning Commission meeting. Staff presented background and proposed two replacement stipulations; Jonathan Jones said his client accepted staff's recommendations. An initial motion to recommend approval failed on a 2-2 tie (Fors: Astin and Rakestraw; Against: Leggett and Fitzgerald).
