The Weatherford Independent School District Board of Trustees approved the purchase of three additional electric school buses using funds from the Texas Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Program (TxVEMP) and subsequently approved a contractor quote to install recharging infrastructure for the buses. Both motions were moved and passed by unanimous vote during the Feb. 9 meeting.
