GCATT wins RTP funding for e-bike conversions; seeks grant for Mud Springs expansion

GCATT reported it received just over $145,000 in a non-motorized RTP grant to convert bicycle trails for Class 1 e-bike use and is planning Mud Springs Phase 2B funding; GCATT is also involved in hiring an OHV Coordinator.

Madeline Logowitz reported that GCATT applied for and received a non-motorized RTP grant worth a little over $145,000 to convert bicycle trails to allow Class 1 e-bike use. She said Mud Springs Phase 2A is improving the turnout and parking area and that GCATT hopes to apply for a Utah Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure grant to support Phase 2B to expand trails.
