At its April meeting the Ball Ground City Council presented a proclamation to new U.S. citizen and longtime downtown business owner Elke Irene Warner, proclaimed April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and recognized April as Safe Digging Month with a utility-safety reminder to call 811 before digging.
