Council endorses Main Street effort; presenter outlines downtown development steps

Ken Smith outlined the proposed Main Street organization and how it would support downtown economic development, preservation and grant eligibility. "Basically, the organization's kinda it's it's intended to be an organization from the council that looks out after your downtown, fosters growth through partnerships," Ken said while distributing a four-page flyer and a board member handbook. He told the council the comprehensive plan draft will likely be available by the next council meeting for review.
