The Madison County Board of Commissioners approved a slate of budget amendments and grant recognitions at its Aug. 17, 2026 meeting. Items approved included several Sheriff fund-balance adjustments, transfers for Juvenile Court Clerk, and smaller grants for the Sheriff’s Office, fire department, circuit court, general sessions and IT. The board approved these items by unanimous voice vote.
