Select Board hears stump-removal update; Howard Hill work estimated at about $1,500

Under the Highways and Garage agenda item, Select Board member Richard Pierce reported that Charlie had arranged for stump removal along the edge of Howard Hill Road after the power company cut trees in the area. Pierce said most removal had already been completed and that Charlie estimated the cost to be about $1,500, which Pierce said is within Charlie's approval authority under the town's procurement/purchasing policy.
