Select Board hears update: new backhoe expected in about two months
Public works update: after a brief availability issue, the Select Board was told the town's new backhoe order has been resolved and the machine is expected to arrive in approximately two months.

The Select Board received an update on the town's new backhoe during the April 13 meeting. Chris Walker, Select Board member, said that after submitting the signed purchase contract the vendor reported an availability issue, which was resolved the next day; he said the new backhoe is expected in approximately two months.
