The Board considered multiple proposals to change the technical amendment's effective date, including motions to push implementation to Jan. 1, 2027, or to Sept. 28, 2026. Governor Emily Anderson moved to amend the implementation date to Jan. 1, 2027 to allow more time for deliberation; that motion was seconded and debated.
