County roads staff presented a slate of upcoming projects and asked the board to authorize bid lettings. The 288th Trail base-stabilization project — a cooperative paving effort with the City of Adel estimated at roughly $690,000 — will proceed to bid letting March 24, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.; Dallas County’s share was presented at approximately $160,000.
