After an on-site accreditation visit, the board approved full accreditation status for Great Plains Technology Center’s practical nursing program (partial distance delivery). Reviewers found minimum standards met and Great Plains superintendent Joelle Jolley reported a 90.6% pass rate for 25 recent candidates.

Accreditation staff presented findings from a 06/02/2026 on-site visit and recommended full approval of Great Plains Technology Center’s practical nursing program delivered in a partial distance-education model. The accreditation examiner reported that "examiner score met all required minimum standards and no areas of noncompliance were identified," and recommended weekly in-person check-ins with distance students until clinical hours begin.
