Council approves transfers resolution and salary-authorization amendment

The Howard County auditor presented Resolution 2026-HCCR21 authorizing transfers within departmental budgets, and the council approved the measure on Sept. 22. The transfers included moves such as community corrections’ probation officer line to utilities ($3,194.63) and a recorder-record perpetuation part-time to insurance ($17,000). "Be it resolved… the following transfers be made within the accounts of the designated funds," the auditor read.
