The council spent significant time on proposed IBC amendments that clarify how electric-vehicle (EV) parking and accessible EV spaces are counted and sized. Sponsor Katie Sheehan summarized edits intended to "better align with the IBC requirements and to simplify how those numbers are determined," including clarifying exceptions so jurisdictions would not be required to provide accessible EV spaces when no EV spaces are otherwise required.
