Planning/Zoning asks board to resume General Code codification; chair to resign May 20
Members of the Planning/Zoning Board told the trustees that the village’s General Code codification has been frozen since 2020 and requested the board resume the project; Planning/Zoning chairman John Nevin Jr submitted his resignation effective May 20, 2026.

Rob Meixner, a member of the Village of Jordan Planning/Zoning Board, told trustees the long-delayed General Code codification project should resume and that editorial review of local laws from 2020 onward will need to be forwarded to General Code. "General Code has pretty much been frozen since 2020," Meixner said.
