The Marshall County Council on Sept. 21 approved the Marshall County Solid Waste budget for fiscal year 2027, a total of $564,048, following a presentation from Mary Ann Peters, director of Marshall County Solid Waste. Peters told the council the department requested the maximum levy to cover the proposed spending.
