The board approved MRI Construction Proposal #606 to widen the E3 basin control structure weir to its maximum width for $3,500; the engineer will provide before-and-after photos and explore adding a manual gate.

Mrs. Adams presented MRI Construction Proposal #606 to widen the opening on the E3 Basin control structure. District Engineer Charlie Krebs explained that the existing control structure is slightly narrower than maximum and that MRI would use a concrete saw to widen the weir to the maximum width "to get the most water out of the community."
