Abbott Library schedules librarian evaluation, plans programs and postpones Friends group until board filled
Trustees scheduled the librarian's annual evaluation for March, plan a March Moth Storytelling event and February Trash & Recycling programming, and decided to wait to form a Friends group (501(c)(3)) until board vacancies are filled.

Cory Smith reported program activity and upcoming events: the Abbott Book Club recently drew 13 attendees for Lessons in Chemistry and "Our next meeting will take place on Tue. Feb. 3 at 6 pm for the book James by Percival Everett." Smith also said the fiber & craft group will move to 4:30–6 p.m. beginning Jan. 20 and the library will set up Valentine’s crafts and take-away kits for February.
