Selectboard agrees fleet plan; drafts RFP to replace Truck 1 and to sell aging truck

The Selectboard discussed long-term fleet management and replacement cycles. Road Foreman Frank Rogers reported that Truck 4 (2015 F550) requires approximately $8,000 in repairs and advised against further investment; the board agreed to sell Truck 4. The board also decided to keep Truck 3 as a temporary backup until two new 10-wheelers on order arrive and to retain the current Truck 1 as a backup once replaced.
