Public Works Supervisor Jim Stark told trustees the dehumidifier at Well 3 is 20 years old and needs replacement; USA Blue Book quoted a unit for $2,600 with a five‑year warranty. Trustees approved purchase not to exceed $2,700. Stark also reported lightning damage near Well #2 that burned up the flow meter and part of the SCADA system, and that a meter at the wastewater plant is intermittently shutting off; he asked Vortek to return to test wiring and confirm whether the issue is wiring or the meter before board approval to purchase a replacement.
