The committee said the town road crew has started ditching on Hardscrabble Road and has largely reached the fire‑pond area, where two parking areas have been prepared "at the fire pond and 'central park'" and are ready for use. Members noted Old Lovers Lane work is scheduled later and does not affect current parking plans.
