The Town of Monkton Conservation Commission discussed replacing or supplementing its conservation checklist with a sample management plan and directed member Sue Stasny to revise and circulate a draft. In a related policy discussion, members considered implications of a Tier 1B designation under Act 181 and approved a motion authorizing Sue Stasny to notify the Selectboard that the commission does not support Tier 1B participation at this time.
