The Lander City Council spent the second half of its meeting in a work session focused on how to evaluate and allocate approximately $1.29 million in residual 0.5¢ economic development funds. Council members, staff, and the public discussed options including fully spending the funds on near-term projects, creating an endowment/corpus for long-term impact, or setting aside contingency money to offset possible future reductions in mill-funded services.
