At the Aug. 17 meeting, the Floyd County Veterans Affairs board recorded a change to the veterans transportation procedure. Veterans using the VA van to reach medical appointments are now being asked to meet the driver at the Floyd County Courthouse unless they have no way to get to the courthouse or they live on the van's scheduled route to their appointment.
