Highway supervisor Mark Robinson (identified in the record) described diagnostic findings and repair quotes for a tractor’s electrical/engine-control system, telling the board the engine controller (ECU) quoted at $1,320.95 might resolve recurring fault codes but that replacing both harnesses, ECU and labor would total about $10,906.94. "So the engine controller, the ECU, is $1,320.95," he reported.
