Pipestone County commissioners voted to move forward with Motorola's records-management, CAD/mobile suite and a bundled body and squad camera package after a staff presentation that compared multiple vendors and financing scenarios. Sheriff's Office representatives told the board the package reduces long-term costs and restores mapping, evidence management and AI-assisted redaction features that the county had lost under prior vendors.
