The Modoc County Board of Supervisors voted to adopt the county's fiscal-year 2026'27 budget on Sept. 22 after a day of departmental budget reviews and technical corrections. Chester Roberts of administration recommended approval and reported an ending general-fund balance available of $365,279 and consolidated special-revenue funds of $40,870,468.
