Mayor Brad Pike opened the meeting by reading a proclamation recognizing Constitution Week and asking residents to "reaffirm the ideals of the framers of the constitution." The proclamation text names Sept. 17 as the anniversary of the framing of the U.S. Constitution and records that the city will affix its seal "on 09/08/2026."
