Kirkland trustees approve routine purchases: Sludge RX, cold patch and squad tires

The Board approved a $6,500 purchase of Sludge RX and Action Packs for lagoon maintenance, authorized one load of cold patch (not to exceed $600) for road repairs, and approved $2,251.76 for replacement squad tires after Chief Davenport reported failures.

Public Works Supervisor Jim Stark informed trustees the annual application of Sludge RX and Action Packs for the lagoon system costs $6,500 for a four-month treatment; the Board approved the purchase. Stark also requested one load of cold patch (approximately three tons) to address several road locations; the Board approved a purchase not to exceed $600.
