Village Attorney Walter presented a draft request for proposals for the Village of Kirkland's solid-waste collection contract, noting the existing five-year contract with Waste Management expires Dec. 31, 2026. The board approved putting the new contract out to bid, with the open bid window scheduled to begin Sept. 18, 2026 via the Village website.
