Washington County Law Library to scale back in-person hours this fall

County staff announced temporary reductions to in-person hours at the Washington County Law Library because of funding and staffing constraints; remote services and digital access will remain available and the library listed specific closure weeks in October, November and December/January.

County Administrator Tanya and staff told the Board of Commissioners the Washington County Law Library will reduce its in-person public hours in the near term because of funding and staffing limits. The library, housed inside the Juvenile Services Building, will be closed for in-person visits Oct. 5-9, Nov. 23-27 and Dec. 21-Jan. 1; remote services and access to the library's digital collection will continue.
