County launches online permitting, readies PayIt payments and makes multiple appointments

County Manager Jack Vite told commissioners that the county’s online permitting system for planning and inspections is now live, enabling applications and permit activity from a computer or phone. He also said the tax office will soon adopt PayIt, an online payment system that citizens may receive email notices from; staff will run public information to clarify legitimacy and timing.
