Wildlife Services: no Price County processor enrolled for venison donation program; staff seeks leads
Wildlife Services told the Land Conservation Committee there is currently no local processor participating in the venison donation (DDP) program and asked committee members to forward any processors willing to enroll; state reimbursement covers processor fees and donated meat goes to food pantries.

Jeremy Irish, a wildlife supervisor with Wildlife Services, told the Land Conservation Committee that staff had recently learned there is no Price County processor willing to process donated venison for the DDP (donation) program and asked members to pass along contacts for interested processors.
